On the 28th of April, we lost our nanay (mother & grandmother). We discovered she had lung cancer just over a year ago and thankful for the time we did get to spend together, especially with the children.
Purple was her favorite colour.

During those last days driving to the hospital, I’d always look out at the Brisbane river thinking of the best angle to capture it’s beauty. Every time we drove past this bridge I thought it would be a great shot however we were never at the right angle. The day after the funeral, we happen to be passing the same bridge, driving in a different direction and just like magic, the car stopped (in traffic), I took a video and several pictures too:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
