I hadn’t seen Grace or Albin since I photographed their wedding a few years back so when Albin’s sister (Ilvana) planned a birthday surprise for me to photograph their daughter’s first birthday, I jumped at the chance. It’s incredibly heartwarming to follow a couple’s journey into parenthood and these guys had an abundance of sweet, sweet tenderness and love for their little girl which I admired greatly. Despite being sick, Katana put a brave face on and still found some laughter and happiness with everyone around her. Thank you for the lovely Easter afternoon and enjoy the next year of walking and talking and many more funny and touching memories to come!
